COMPETITIONS

ARISE CHOREOGRAPHYS "Legends Dance Team," competes each year in competitions with Sharp International. In their most recent event, they took home 4 first place trophies in Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Pom and Dance at Universal Studio's Hollywood. Since 2011 the team has won over forty first place trophies at national competitions, earned numerous Judge's Awards and received special recognition from notable organizations such as ICEF Public Schools, Gardena Heritage Festivals and SHARP International.

"Legend's Dance Team," is known for its cutting-edge technique, award winning routines and show stopping costumes. Students train extensively throughout the year in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Pom and more to compete and perform in competitions throughout the U.S., school invitationals and community outreach programs. The goal of the Legends Dance Team is to encourage other students to go after their goals and dreams in the arts and to become living legends in the earth.

The team is under the direct leadership of Ms. La Tasha Poster the Artistic Director of the company. Ms. Poster believes that by implementing discipline through love and powerful spiritual principles that youth can soar in every area of their lives. Her goal is to let students remember her purpose in thier lives. " A dance teacher helps their students find the song in their heart the beat in their feet and a passion for life!"
